وطنا اليوم:أكد البنتاغون أن وزير الدفاع الأميركي لويد أوستن سيأمر بإجراء تغييرات على انتشار القوات الأميركية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط.
وذكر أن وزير الدفاع لم يقرر بعد القدرات الدفاعية التي سيتم نشرها.
وأفاد بأن وزير الدفاع أكد لنظيره الإسرائيلي يوآف غالانت أن التصعيد ليس حتميا، مشيرا إلى التزام واشنطن بتعزيز القوات الأميركية في المنطقة.
وأضاف أن واشنطن تتواصل مع شركائها في المنطقة لدعم الدفاع عن إسرائيل وضمان استمرار الشحن التجاري عبر البحر الأحمر.
الى ذلك نقلت إذاعة الجيش الإسرائيلي عن وزير الدفاع يوآف غالانت قوله لنظيره الأميركي لويد أوستن إن تل أبيب “في منعطف حرج في قدرتها على وضع خطة لاستعادة المحتجزين”.
أوستن يأمر بتغيير انتشار القوات الأميركية بالمنطقة
